  • $93.91 - $122.63 USD Hour

The NPD Specialist works closely with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to provide educational support, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the quality of patient care through evidence-based practices. The NPD Specialist is responsible for identifying and addressing the learning needs of nursing staff through the design and implementation of effective educational programs. This includes developing orientations, continuing education initiatives, and competency assessments that align with clinical and organizational goals. This role also involves providing mentorship and support to clinical staff and facilitating their career development through ongoing professional growth opportunities. The NPD Specialist continually promotes quality improvement initiatives, integrating them into educational offerings to support safe, high-quality patient care. The specific focus areas of the NPD Specialist may vary depending on the area to which they are assigned, such as a general role or a role within areas like critical care, telemetry, or other clinical specialties.
