About the role
Role: Design Engineer / Coordinator - Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings with documentation and follow up of important actions and decisions from meetings - Preparation and submission of method statements & material submissions pertaining to architectural materials. - Coordinate, compile and receive relevant Material certificates and test reports from Suppliers. - Monitoring and circulating approvals for schematic design, design development and construction documents i.e. shop drawings, material approval, mock-ups - Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for materials delivered and installed in accordance with construction schedule, interacting with internal and external stakeholders to implement and coordinate inspection and testing for approval. - Coordinate with relevant parties, such as QPS (client-engaged supervision team), suppliers, and testing laboratories, for material testing and witnessing. - Raise Requests for Inspection (RFI) for all relevant testing and inspection activities, both on-site and off-site, including trial mix design of concrete, mock-up tests, and qualification of new products. - Familiarize and ensure that the projects adhere to the required specifications and framework, and that all documentation and submissions are prepared and maintained appropriately and accordingly for each submission - Any other ad-hoc jobs assigned Qualification and Technical Competencies 1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture 2. Experience in handling LTA Infrastructure design 3. At least 3 years of experience of relevant industry (Construction/Architecture/Civil/Infrastructure) 4. Proficient in technical knowledge of construction and material (Architectural and Steel)
