The Quality Team is a matrix organization within Beyond Meat that is dedicated to creating food products that are leading the gold standard in plant-based proteins. They are looking for an outstanding individual to join the team located in Devault, PA as a Quality Assurance Technician. The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that all products manufactured meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company quality and food safety standards. This position is responsible for monitoring production processes, completing required documentation, conducting inspections and testing, and supporting compliance with food safety and quality programs. The QA Technician actively enforces regulatory standards and serves as a champion of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout the facility. TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily quality checks on production lines and processes throughout the shift Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to production, packaging, labeling, food safety, and product quality Collect and document microbiological, environmental, retention, and new equipment swab samples Verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness through organoleptic inspections and ATP swabbing Conduct internal audits for GMPs and other food safety prerequisite programs Work closely with production leadership during active production and shutdown periods Provide required documentation and print labels for production as needed Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems Enforce compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer standards Model and coach team members on proper GMP practices Adhere to all facility policies regarding safety, security, and food safety Follow all company safety programs and procedures Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate findings effectively Perform other duties as assigned Supervisory Duties None
