About the role

ATO acceleration and risk observability are the top priorities for every government agency leader. Kovr.AI, Fortreum's AI-native and patented platform, is the only solution designed to deliver this at scale. We are looking for a high-performing Federal Account Executive to capitalize on Fortreum's tremendous momentum and pipeline velocity. In this role, you'll get to work with the world's best cyber technologists to address the most pressing needs of government executives, managing a $3M quota and executing complex, high-value enterprise sales. This is a role for a "hunter" who understands how to navigate the intersection of direct sales and a robust partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth: Execute a strategic territory plan for Fortreum, focusing on enterprise-level security software and services.
  • Strategic Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and SES/GS-15 level leaders across civilian and defense agencies to showcase the value of the Kovr.AI platform.
  • Ecosystem Orchestration: Work closely with our premier partner network, including Blackwood Associates, AWS, Accenture Federal Services, and Carahsoft, to co-sell and expand Fortreum's market reach.
  • Pipeline Velocity: Manage a high-velocity sales cycle from discovery to close, leveraging Fortreum's existing momentum and pre-authorized status (FedRAMP/IL5) to shorten procurement timelines.
  • Mission Alignment: Translate complex technical capabilities of the Kovr.AI platform into mission-driven outcomes for government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment in the Federal sector, specifically including at least one $2M+ enterprise contract.
  • Deep experience selling security software (SaaS) and tech-enabled services.
  • A bias for action with a proven "hunter" mindset and a repeatable methodology for breaking into new agencies.
  • Expert at navigating both direct sales motions and channel-led strategies through major federal systems integrators and VARs.
  • High-level communication skills capable of commanding a room of senior government executives and technical leaders.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Posted Salary Range
  • $140,000-150,000 annual salary, with $290,000-300,000 OTE
