To facilitate the use of AI, we have created an Enterprise AI team, which is responsible for providing the infrastructure and AI tools for the organization, as well as migrating AI agents into our infrastructure. As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for smooth operation and optimization of our AI-re lated systems and services across. What you will be responsible for Play a leading role in the monitoring, management, and optimization of our AI - related IT infrastructure and services to ensure high performance, security, and availability Own intake of AI agents and automations built in the organization into our managed infra structure Maintain the portfolio of AI agents and automations, maintaining cost control, reliability, effective monitoring, and resolution of complex issues Build and maintain connectors to enable effective use of AI tools across the organization Develop and implement IT operational processes in the Enterprise AI area for efficient operations and incident resolution, and support the transition of routine tasks to the Operations Center Keep our AI-related infrastructure and tools co mpl iant with security policies, procedures, and industry regulations, including implementing and m aintaining guardrails such as Azure Policies and Copilot Studio guidelines Collaborate with business units and our AI Enablement team to ensure seamless end-to-end execution across team s and business function boundaries Provide leadership and mentoring to junior IT operations specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment Type of work this role engages with Managing and optimizing IT systems and services to support business operations Leading the diagnosis and resolution of complex IT operational issues Developing and implementing IT operations processes to improve efficiency and service delivery Coaching team members and advancing ongoing improvements in IT operations WHAT WE VALUE With 5 + years of experience in IT operations, this role involves leading and managing IT infrastructure and services, monitoring sy stem perfo rmance, and resolving technical issues. maintain high syst em availab ility, and meet security standards. Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Policies, and related infrastructure - you are comfortable navigating the Azure ecosystem and applying governance controls Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio or similar AI orchestration platforms, and an understanding of how to configure, monitor, and maintain AI tools at scale Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or API integration patterns - you understand how to connect AI assistants like Microsoft Copilot and Claude to enterprise systems A solid grasp of IT operations fundamentals: monitoring, incident management, availability, cost control, and service reliability Experience with AI agent lifecycle management - from intake and onboarding through to ongoing monitoring and decommissioning Comfort working across security and compliance boundaries, including implementing guardrails and upholding adherence to policies and regulations Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - you work effectively across engineering, business, and enablement teams and can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders An interest in or understanding of AI governance frameworks - you appreciate why guardrails matter and can implement them practically, not just in principle
