Responsibilities

  • Provide after-sales service support for control systems including DCS/SIS, SCADA (FAST/TOOLS, STARDOM) and ExaQuantum to both internal and external customers.
  • Receive and manage customer inquiries, service requests, and complaints related to installed systems and products.
  • Deliver technical support and troubleshooting using specialized knowledge of control systems and related applications.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, particularly for technical and service-related matters.
  • Coordinate with local country offices and Yokogawa Headquarters (Global Response Centre) to resolve technical issues and service cases.
  • Support global dispatch activities for troubleshooting, commissioning, and on-site technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in 24-hour standby duty rotation, including overseas deployment on short notice for urgent support.
  • Assist the Response Center Manager in managing crisis reports, service notes, complex issues, and affiliate dispatch requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in control system engineering, such as DCS, SIS, SCADA, STARDOM, ExaQuantum, PLC, or equivalent systems.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, or similar industrial control platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance skills in distributed control systems and industrial networks (e.g. L2/L3, firewalls).
  • Conduct service, maintenance, and troubleshooting training for local country offices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to work with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to be on standby and travel overseas on short notice when required.
