Technical Writer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, or English with five (5) years of experience in a similar position with a large Federal organization.
• Communications strategy and execution experience.
• Process development and improvement experience.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to collaborate across organizations, technical acumen and the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience
• Polished presentation skills using multiple methods of delivery (in person, electronic and digital)
• Experience performing user research and synthesis.
• Ability to work onsite in DC five days a week, and hold an ongoing Active Top Secret Clearance

Salaries for a Technical Writer t at Planet Technologies range from $70,000 and $90,000.
