The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy. Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.'s, Rehabilitation Aides and students. Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care. .Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy Required Masters Degree Preferred New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment General computer literacy BLS Required Hourly rate $53.86 plus experience differential Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays - 10am - 6:30 pm Wednesdays and Fridays - 9am -5:30pm Saturdays - 8am -4:30pm Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
