Starting at $74,048 /annumReports to:Room ManagerApplication deadline:Monday June 22, 2026 at 12:00pm ESTLocation:Toronto, ONExpected Hire Date:Start dates will vary due to multiple vacanciesThe Role: Manager-In-Training (MIT)As a Manager-in-Training, you bring Lush's Leadership Practices into all elements of your business: Be Real, Be Curious, Lead Fearlessly, Adapt and Evolve, Grow Talent, and Live with Purpose .What you do (Responsibilities):Unique Customer Experience:Be proactive communicating to customer service, s upply chain operations and buying as it pertains to product launches, quality issues, production delays, fulfillment, raw materials and sundriesSupport the development of processes and communicate with forecasting support person on any concerns regarding sales, safety stocks and life cycles of new and existing productsUnique Staff Journey:Oversee Floor Supervisors to ensure staff are on-boarded and trained adequatelyProvide direction, support, feedback, development and performance management to all room staffSupport the Manager to implement talent programs and ensure all roles are filled and development plans are executedFind solutions to staff conflict, provide feedback, coaching, and set expectationsAssist in management of health and safety initiatives, claims management, and return-to-workOperational Excellence:Assist in planning, implementation, execution and tracking of all short and long term projectsSupport 4-month planning project creation, presentation and implementations within the roomHelp oversee KPIs with a clear understanding of production capabilities taking volume and space into consideration through capacity modelingOversee room reports and ensure they are completedKnowledgeable of all costs and revenue generated through the roomWho you are (Qualifications):Required:Current Lush employee having held their current role successful for one yearPrevious experience working as a Floor Supervisor (contract or core) or equivalent manufacturing/supply chain operations management experienceAble to effectively manage conflict and difficult decisions as needed, using de-escalation techniquesAn understanding of in-room operations (i.e. routings/metrics, compounding, production lines, processes)Accustomed to working in a highly-seasonal, high-pressure production/distribution environmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAble to train, coach, and provide documentation as needed for staff performance developmentAble to give and receive feedbackUnderstand how department processes contribute to the success of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Able to navigate email, MS Office Suite, and Google programs (i.e. Sheets, Chat, Meet)Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependableCommitment to abiding by and overseeing health & safety regulationsCommitment to abiding by and overseeing quality and good manufacturing practicesAble to demonstrate organizational skills (i.e. note taking and follow-ups)Awareness and commitment towards change managementAwareness and commitment towards DEIB effortsComfortable with reading, writing, and speaking English in order to communicate with peers and leadership on all platforms (i.e. in person, via email, via Google/Teams chat)Comfortable with presenting and public speakingPreferred:Experience in production planning and inventory control3+ years of progressive leadership and people management experienceCapable of performing basic payroll functionsDemonstrated success in achieving KPIsCross-functional manufacturing and/or supply chain operations experienceUnderstanding of all processes and legislations required to ensure safe working practicesUnderstanding of ERP systems (AX), production planning processes, and software programsHave completed conflict resolution and de-escalation trainingHow to Apply: Submit resume and complete application questionsApply by: Monday June 22, 2026 at 12:00pm EST (no late submissions to maintain the integrity of our process)Need help?
