The Senior Managing Director of AI Strategy & Enterprise Applications is responsible for building and leading the organization's AI Strategy and Enterprise AI applications roadmap. Key Responsibilities and Duties Own and drive TIAA's enterprise-wide AI strategy, vision and multi-year roadmap, ensuring it is tightly aligned to corporate strategy and anchored in measurable business outcomes Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior business leaders across the enterprise, engaging directly with P&L owners to identify where AI creates the greatest leverage and co-developing AI roadmaps that translate business priorities into actionable, outcome-driven plans. Evangelizes use of AI services and other emerging technology within the company across business boundaries to augment the organization's products and services. The role is expected to lead on TIAA's thinking on its AI products and services against business needs. She/ he will expand product roadmaps for current tooling and envision new products and services for the enterprise based on enterprise roadmaps. Liaises with the broader enterprise and affiliates to ensure that innovation outcomes are efficiently leveraged throughout different parts of the business. Expands traditional boundaries of technological innovation while balancing risk and innovation for the benefit of clients. Leads thought leadership, research and intellectual property initiatives in the technology and AI space across the organization's business lines. Establishes agile innovation processes which allow the company to easily adjust current technologies to changes in the market and changing needs of clients. They will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the most senior P&L owners in the company, act as the executive sponsor of AI product delivery, and build the organizational muscle to scale Agentic AI responsibly and rapidly. With more than two decades of experience spanning AI technology and financial services, this leader will bring the credibility to challenge, inspire, and align stakeholders at every level from engineers to the C-suite.
