- Driving compliance with safety, regulatory, and Dangerous Goods requirements
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in distribution or logistics, ideally at a national or multi-site level
- A thorough, demonstrable understanding of the New Zealand distribution landscape, including transport networks, regional challenges, and third-party logistics
- Strong capability in leading people while delivering operational results; you know how to get the best out of teams while maintaining performance standards
- A track record of successfully balancing operational priorities with team engagement and development
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and implement improvements
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, or similar) is highly regarded
- Exposure to Dangerous Goods compliance is highly regarded
