Responsibilities

• Completing training & getting well versed with product quickly.
• Drawing & Drafting practices on assigned Pilot jobs.
• Detailed part design, modelling & drafting.
• Assembly / CAD configuration.
• 3D- modeling in Solid Edge and building 3D library in Team center and creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) under the guidance of mentors.
• Creation of all necessary tool drawings for manufacturing under the guidance of mentors.
• Adapting product requirement & good practices being followed in engineering.
• Monthly & Quarterly discussion with mentor & manager on Self improvement.
• Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
• A bachelor's in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with around 1-3 years' experience in detailed design & drafting engineering, or similar functions.
• Passion for creative design, aesthetic engineering.
• Should have very good application knowledge of Fits and Tolerances and GD&T in Design of precision assemblies with Welding process would add on advantage
• Tool Knowledge- GD & T, Team Center
• Knowledge of Solid Edge basics
• Understanding of wielding symbols and Manufacturing process
• Good communication skills
• Quick Learner

Additional Information

The primary focus of this position is working on engineering documents & drawings by using engineering tools. This position will report to Manager.
