Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a social worker to join Birmingham's Assessment and Short-Term Intervention (ASTI) team. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will manage complex caseloads assigned by a Team Manager, who will also provide supervision in line with organizational policies. Responsibilities include conducting Initial Assessments and Core Assessments, preparing Case Conference reports for initial conferences, and writing Section 7 and Section 37 reports under the Children Act 1989. You will also handle duty tasks such as taking initial referrals, facilitating supervised contacts, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation. The role demands strong analytical, communication, and safeguarding skills to support vulnerable individuals and families through effective, person-centred interventions and multi-agency collaboration.
