Opportunity Overview: The Field Strategist will be aligned to a specified group of Account Executives in a defined sales territory (e.g. East or West in North America) to support them in developing account roadmaps and deal strategies as well as evangelizing the RELEX product offering and value proposition to prospective customers in the retail and manufacturing industries. The Field Strategist will support the Account Executive in qualifying new opportunities and playing a critical role in the various activities such as detailed needs analysis and requirements gathering, defining winning themes, creating the business case, responding to RFx, collaborating with Solution Principals on use cases and solution demonstrations, creating and delivering presentations at various levels of the organization including the C-level suite. The Field Strategist leverages their extensive retail and manufacturing industry knowledge (business process and industry best practices) to effectively position the RELEX solution to address the prospect's needs and challenges. A critical component is translating the prospect's needs to the value the underlying RELEX solution offering can enable. You will be responsible for collaborating with the prospect to create a business case and ROI model and presenting this at all levels of the organization. NOTE: This is a fully remote position which requires travel (up to approx. 50%) and will support the West Region of North America, which includes the Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones. Therefore, you will preferably live and work remotely in one of these time zones and near a major airport for ease of travel. Competencies and Responsibilities: PROOF OF CONCEPT : We are often asked to provide a POC which can be delivered in a variety of ways based on the prospect's needs and timing: Live Pilot X-Ray Analysis - a digital twin simulation of their historical performance within RELEX to support the detailed analysis of RELEX capabilities Demo with prospect data Strategic Value Assessment (SVA) or business case We need to guide the prospect in the correct direction that suits them, will position us best to win the case, and makes best utilization of our organizational resources. The Field Strategist will work closely with the Account Executive and Solution Principal to determine the best approach for the prospect. The Field Strategist is directly responsible for Strategic Value Assessment/Business Case activities and deliverables. The Solution Principal is directly responsible for leading and coordinating the Live Pilot, X-Ray Analysis and Demo with the Field Strategist playing a critical supporting role. SALES MATERIAL : We constantly want to develop our material and customize based on customer interaction. You will need to utilize the bank of material available, while also being able to create variations and slides/material unique to certain customer/prospect engagements. COMMUNICATION : Presenting to all levels of an organization from business users, stakeholders to the C-level suite is a critical element to the Field Strategist role. This includes a variety of engagements such as initial qualification discussions, supporting detailed needs analysis and demonstration sessions as well as delivering the value assessment/ROI results to prospects. Additionally, you will support the Account Management team in presenting to existing customers in the semi-annual business reviews. Another role will be Reference Management. We need to compile and manage potential prospect requests globally and within the Americas market. You will take on responsibility of assisting in identifying best fit references with current customers who are going to express their experience of RELEX in the best way for the potential customer.
