We are filling New Grad RN Resident positions at Euclid Hospital on NIGHT shift and DAY/NIGHT rotating shifts. Day/Night: 7:00am - 7:30pm / 7:00pm - 7:30am Nights: 7:00pm - 7:30am Units include : 5th Floor - Med Surg Tele Ortho 8th Floor - Med Surg 9th Floor - Med Surg Tele Neuro Please apply and complete our pre-screen questions to be considered for a role. *Please wear scrubs and be prepared to interview with one of our Nursing leaders. As a New Grad RN Resident on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability). Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients' medical records. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross New graduate or less than one year of RN work experience OR if experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
