About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Support Officer to provide part-time administrative and bookkeeping support for hostel-related administrative operations and account matters. The role involves handling documentation, invoice and payment processing, financial data entry, bank reconciliation, journal adjustments, and preparation of monthly financial statements for management review.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Functions
  • Collect and review supporting documents for processing.
  • Generate and process invoices and payments.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Admin Manager.
  • Bookkeeping Functions

  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Process accruals and journal adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for submission and review.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O-Level qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in administration and bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Candidates must possess valid work authorisation in Singapore at the point of application.
  • Preferred Competencies
  • Prior experience in an educational, hostel, non-profit, or similar administrative environment.
  • Experience preparing financial reports for committee, management, or board review.
  • Familiarity with non-profit or committee-based accounts management.
  • Work Arrangements
  • Working Days: 15 working days per month
  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 7.00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break
  • Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break
  • Other Working Days: To be arranged with the Admin Manager
  • Non-Working Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
