Requirements

• Desired Education: High School Diploma
• Desired Work Experience: 5+ years
• Certificates and Licenses: Driver's License
• Education/Experience:
• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Proficiency in using measurements to assess parts and ensure proper fitting during repairs and maintenance.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
• Lifting & Carrying: Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds ; occasionally maneuver heavy vehicle components, equipment, or parts exceeding 50 pounds with the assistance of mechanical lifting devices
• Standing & Movement: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday on hard surfaces such as concrete; frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access vehicle undercarriages, wheel wells, and low-clearance areas
• Reaching & Working Positions: Reach overhead, below the knee, and at shoulder level; work in confined spaces, awkward positions, and at various heights when accessing different vehicle areas
• Hand & Wrist Use: Continuously use hands and fingers to grip, handle, feel, and manipulate tools, equipment, spray guns, and vehicle components; perform repetitive hand and wris

Hendrick Collision at Mall of Georgia Location: 4641 Harrison Run, Buford, Georgia 30518 Summary: Responsible for identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisor responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Examines body damage on customer vehicles Identifies necessary body repair work Estimates cost of body work Requests necessary parts Performs body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts Documents repairs performed Performs body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the Company's Core Values. Complies with Company policies and procedures. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned.
