About the role

This role is responsible for building and strengthening a robust pipeline of new business opportunities by partnering closely with the Power & Energy Business Unit, Cat Dealers, and end customers. With a clear focus on relationship development, the position proactively identifies and nurtures leads, laying the groundwork for future sales success. By engaging stakeholders early, qualifying opportunities, and advancing prospects through the initial stages of the sales lifecycle, the role ensures a steady flow of high-quality leads that are ready for seamless handoff to the sales team for conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Following organizational policies and procedures and maintaining clear and direct line of communication within the organization to meet customer requirements.
  • Consult with dealers and internal business partners on the subject of sales and service support of product to "corporate account" customers.
  • Designing processes for informing customer of rates, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
  • Working directly with customers to collect information, sell additional products and services to current customers, and ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Skills Required:

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
