As a CT Technologist, you will: - Perform CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Actions and attitude that contributes to the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. Best place to work, safest place to receive care, superior outcomes, financial success for reinvestment, valued as a faith-based organization, and a growing organization vital to the community) - Be responsible for running CT scans and fulfilling physicians' scan requests - Be responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations - Take patient medical history before an exam - Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients - Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading - Cleans and disinfects patient rooms Qualifications include: - Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology - Completion of CT technology certificate program preferred - State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license - ARRT (CT) - Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Willing to learn Cardiac CT preferred Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40hrs Typical Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM; able to rotate to other locations as needed.
