As a Component Specialist, you'll manage component replacement workflows, interpret failure analysis reports, and ensure contractual compliance. Job Description: Actively participate in daily safety discussions and maintain compliance with all safety policies and training requirements. Attend customer meetings to review maintenance schedules, identify component replacement needs, and align with contractual obligations. Gather equipment history to support repair vs. replace decisions and prepare component request forms. Manage major and minor component replacement processes, including exchange transactions and DNR (Do Not Repair) identification. Review service bay activity and support management with exchange component transactions. Interpret failure analysis reports and recommend next steps, including site failure or observation reports. Identify opportunities to classify components under existing warranty requirements. Verify conditional core acceptance tests and monitor risk on minor component transactions. Ensure compliance with customer-specific component replacement contracts and Finning's service excellence standards. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to communication touchpoints throughout the component process. Day-to-Day Activities: Monitor component replacement schedules and align with customer contracts. Communicate with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and contractual requirements. Track warranty and exchange processes and ensure accurate documentation. Collaborate with service supervisors and technical teams to resolve issues promptly. Review KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
