We are seeking a future focused Alliance Operations leader to contribute to HP's Strategic Alliance Business. The HP Strategic Alliances organization is responsible for fostering the end-to-end relationship with all HP strategic alliance partners. The team drives strategic business engagements, technology innovation discussions, and marketing engagements with each alliance partner to ensure HP is in the best position possible to delight our customers and win in the marketplace. As the Vice President of Personal Systems Alliance Operations, you will engage, build, and evolve a comprehensive and cohesive strategy to create a world-class technology alliance program. Success is executing and expanding our integrated technology ecosystem with our technology partners to deliver differentiated value and solutions to our customers and partners. The strategic management of our integrated technology ecosystem and supply chain operation is vital to our overall growth strategy. In order to be successful in this role, you will be responsible for: Managing $10B+ procurement spending across alliance partners. Negotiate funding and assurance of supply with multiple partners. Contribute to the optimization of end-to-end supply/demand planning processes internally within HP and externally with alliance partners; participate on trade-off decisions for a multi-million unit business. Defining and managing matrixed metrics across a portfolio of partnerships. Identifying "Better Together" strategic innovation growth opportunities. Working with HP business unit owners and alliance partners, develop business plans and secure buy-in on which opportunities to pursue. Managing executive level engagements. This includes creating content, gaining internal and external buy-in, pre-briefs and post-meeting follow ups. This means you will bring a variety of experience, including: Proven success running a global enterprise-level strategic technology alliance program with well-established relationships with partner executives. An agile, strategic, and flexible/creative thinker with a strong understanding of business and commercial business models and transaction. Conversant in key business and financial metrics. Deep understanding of the PC industry ecosystem. Demonstrated success in collaborating and providing cross-functional leadership and build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partner field teams. Must be a self-starter that can operate with a high degree of autonomy with an ability to navigate ambiguity to innovate and drive results in an entrepreneurial high growth environment. Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, communication, and promotional skills with comfort dealing and negotiating with senior executives and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels (executives, junior staff, and external stakeholders). You'll also have these skills and background: Utmost levels of integrity and professionalism. Able to think critically about key business drivers and risk factors with demonstrated ability to develop practical solutions to achieve business objectives within acceptable risk parameters. Executive presence: comfortable making executive-level presentations, navigate complex and complicated situations, work through challenges, and able to positively influence multiple stakeholders. Infuse constantly evolving rhythm of business mindset to win with team: how leaders always need to evolve, learn, bring a growth mindset approach, positive intent orientation, and future focus. Bachelor's degree in business or technology related discipline, MBA preferred. 12 plus years in senior leadership roles. 10 plus years in technology and partner focused roles. The pay range for this role is $266,000 - $318,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
