This is a strategic, high-visibility role focused on establishing clear governance, strengthening category structures, and driving cost and performance improvements across our global supply chain. The main focus of the role is on d riving global structure, governance, and performance across key logistics categories You will work cross-functionally across Business Lines and key stakeholders, including Supply Chain execution teams such as Logistics, Procurement, and SIOP, ensuring alignment, standardization, and execution of global category strategies. You will continuously challenge the status quo, drive optimization, and ultimately improve the customer experience. Your key responsibilities Define and execute the global category strategy for Warehousing and Packaging Establish and implement clear governance frameworks and category structures across regions Drive global sourcing initiatives, including tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiations Build and manage a global supplier portfolio, including preferred supplier models Lead cost optimization initiatives through benchmarking, standardization, and contract management Drive packaging optimization initiatives with a focus on cost efficiency, standardization, decarbonization, and material optimization Develop and enforce global standards, policies, and ways of working within the categories Enable performance management and transparency through KPIs and structured reporting Act as the global point of coordination across regions, ensuring alignment and execution Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders on category-related topics Why this role Ownership of two strategic categories with significant potential Opportunity to challenge the status quo and drive optimization across global operations Shape global governance, structure, and standards High visibility role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders Direct impact on cost, performance, and customer experience Success in this role Success is defined by building structured global governance, delivering tangible cost and performance improvements, and elevating the end-to-end customer experience across Warehousing and Packaging. What you bring BS or MS in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field 7+ years of experience within category management, logistics, or global supply chain Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management Strong understanding of warehousing category. Packaging is a plus.
