Collaborate with Engineering to perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for defects and non-conformances. Process Improvement Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and waste reduction strategies. Analyze production data and KPIs to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality. Implement standardized work instructions and optimize assembly workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams. Support new product introduction (NPI) and prototyping efforts involving AM components. Interface with customers and auditors as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing/assembly supervision within automotive, aerospace, or defense industries.
- Proven experience with manufacturing technologies and hybrid production environments.
- Familiarity with precision assembly, tight tolerance systems, and high-reliability components.
- Experience with documentation, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and production tracking tools.
- Exposure to digital manufacturing tools.
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP, and/or IATF 16949 standards.
- Experience with post-processing of AM parts (heat treatment, machining, surface finishing).
