About the role

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service that provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to evaluate the effectiveness of organizational programs and operations, identify performance trends, and prepare program status reports for senior leadership review. Experience in reviewing, editing, and facilitating incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure compliance with organizational standards for completeness, accuracy, security classification, and tone in a senior executive environment. Experience in coordinating and responding to regulatory requests by researching applicable statutes and exemptions, interpreting relevant policies, and advising management and staff on the proper disclosure and dissemination of official organizational records and information. Experience in establishing, maintaining, and promoting records management programs by analyzing systems and file utilization procedures, developing coordination tools, and recommending improved procedures that incorporate automated processes to ensure the accessibility and security of organizational information. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
