About the Function: The Contract and Invoice Operations (CIO) team sits within the Commercial Services Operations team of the global End to End Commercial (E2EC) Tower. Commercial Services Operations is an exciting and evolving area of the Diageo Global Business Operations (GBO) service offering and the responsibilities in this area will continue to develop with agility and pace to continue to meet and exceed the wider business requirements. The CIO team is responsible for tasks required to ensure that our commercial customers' retrospective promotional invoices are tracked, validated and coded correctly, including the appropriate records' retention, thus ensuring compliant and controlled cash and account management. The Customer Investment Management Specialist will primarily be responsible for the CIO service delivery for the cluster of customers allocated to them whilst also being part of the wider CIO team responsibilities including operational cover, functional capability building, team documentation maintenance and coaching support. The Customer Investment Management Specialist will also have specific on-going responsibility including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Deliver CIM service, offering for their customer cluster within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timings and thresholds
- Liaise with the customer / sales team / Commercial Finance team on any invoicing related issues.
- Responsible for all Contract and Investment Management processes for specific cluster assigned.
- Provide support, execution, and adherence to processes to enable an efficient CIM process for Diageo customers and call out when appropriate issues are noted.
- Use external and internal metrics to reconcile, evaluate and control outbound payments and challenge when appropriate.
- Perform volume analysis and calculate customer invoice amounts.
- Ensure a 100% compliance across all the areas of invoicing and support audits.
- Take ownership and devise strategies on invoicing processes, nurture the relationship with partners to understand context, payment terms, activation status, etc.
- Reporting the cash on metrics
- Creating possibilities for the team to succeed in a changing environment.

- Excellent written and spoken Business English & German
- Strong SAP, Excel skills
