Ensure that laboratory analytical instruments are maintained in a compliant and reliable working state by performing and coordinating calibration, maintenance, and qualification/validation activities in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality system requirements. This role supports internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D and Quality) and external suppliers to ensure uninterrupted and compliant laboratory operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibration and maintenance activities for analytical laboratory instruments in accordance with approved procedures and schedules. Plan, schedule, and manage calibration and maintenance activities performed by external service providers or equipment manufacturers, including supplier-calibrated instruments. Review service reports and calibration certificates to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Provide technical support in the event of instrument malfunctions or failures, including troubleshooting, root cause identification, and coordination with equipment manufacturers or service providers to resolve issues. Collaborate closely with Quality team members to ensure calibration and maintenance activities are aligned with quality system requirements, including data integrity, documentation standards, and change management processes. Ensure adherence to applicable Quality Systems, GLP principles, and regulatory requirements; actively participate in audit preparation, inspections, and responses to audit findings related to calibration and maintenance activities.
