Strategic manager (Regional Operations & Business Development)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate preschool operations across Singapore and China, ensuring consistency in educational quality, regulatory compliance (ECDA, local China education authorities), and operational efficiency
• Drive strategic business development, including identifying and securing corporate partnerships, referral programmes, and new centre opportunities in Singapore and Greater China
• Lead cross-border initiatives, frequent travel to China and Malaysia for site visits, partnership negotiations, and operational alignment
• Develop and implement marketing & enrolment strategies tailored to regional markets
• Advise senior management on regional expansion, risk management, and long-term growth plans
• Represent the Group in high-level external engagements with government bodies, corporate clients, and education partners

Requirements

• Proven senior management experience in education, early childhood, or related sectors
• Strong regional exposure in China and/or Southeast Asia
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to travel frequently to China and Malaysia
• Master's degree or equivalent from a reputable university preferred
• Location: Singapore, China, Malaysia (with regional travel)
• This role is critical for our regional growth strategy and requires a candidate with deep China/Singapore education sector knowledge and networks.
