The Regional Careers Specialist plays a vital role in advancing this initiative by marketing and promoting regional career opportunities to the Notre Dame community. The Regional Careers Specialist will help students, alumni, faculty/staff spouses, and other Notre Dame-affiliated talent envision South Bend as a place where they can build meaningful and fulfilling careers. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to contribute to a strategic effort that strengthens connections between the University of Notre Dame, the South Bend-Elkhart region, and talented individuals seeking professional growth. Through storytelling, outreach, events, and engagement, the Regional Careers Specialist will help shape perceptions of the region by highlighting what exists today, what is being built for the future, and why Notre Dame-affiliated talent should consider South Bend as a destination for long-term career success. As a member of the Regional Careers team, this position works closely with the Manager of Program Operations and Regional Careers, who develops relationships with HR leaders and hiring managers at regional organizations and facilitates job matches for career seekers within the Notre Dame Network. The Regional Careers Specialist will amplify and extend the impact of this work by sharing compelling stories, promoting opportunities, and increasing awareness of the diverse career pathways available throughout the region. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and contribute to a mission-driven effort that supports both regional economic growth and the success of Notre Dame-affiliated talent. The successful candidate will be energized by building connections, promoting opportunities, and helping others discover the professional possibilities available in the South Bend-Elkhart region.
