Torch Technologies Inc., is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist that will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the integrity and traceability of system configurations across the product or system lifecycle. This role ensures that all configuration items are properly identified, documented, controlled, and audited in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management (CM) processes and procedures. Identify and control configuration items (CIs), including hardware, software, documentation, and related artifacts. Manage change control processes, including reviewing, approving, and tracking change requests. Maintain configuration baselines and ensure version control accuracy. Conduct configuration audits (functional and physical) to verify compliance. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure alignment with CM standards. Maintain CM tools and repositories (e.g., version control systems, PLM tools). Generate reports and metrics on configuration status, changes, and compliance. Support internal and external audits, including regulatory or customer-driven assessments. Required Qualifications: US Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5 years of experience in configuration management or a related discipline. Familiarity with CM standards (e.g., ISO, ITIL, CMMI, or DoW standards such as EIA-649). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Jira, ServiceNow, Windchill, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Must have a current active secret clearance.
