Partner with the best In this role, you will provide Manufacturing Engineering support for gas turbine testing processes, defining effective methods, improving shop-floor execution, and driving initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced aeroderivative gas turbine products, contribute directly to shop-floor performance, and influence the evolution of testing processes in a complex and technology-driven manufacturing environment. With a focus on aeroderivative gas turbine testing activities (LM9000 & LM2500), as a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for: Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing methods, shop routings, and operating procedures for gas turbine activities within the Flow Assembly & Testing Cell. Drive process continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and capacity improvement, using structured problem-solving and data-driven decision making. Lead process standardization and industrialization, in order to have a leaner and more robust process Provide technical guidance and shop-floor support to production teams, addressing manufacturing issues, supporting root-cause analysis, and ensuring effective implementation of corrective actions. Design and improve tooling & fixtures, performing capability analysis, with a strong focus on safety, ergonomics and quality Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering teams across Baker Hughes sites to share best practices, leverage technology, and promote standardization and innovation. Fuel Your Passion Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college. Have relevant experience in manufacturing, production, or related support functions within a complex industrial environment. Be fluent in both English and Italian, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize activities, and lead initiatives within cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions. Show a proactive mindset and the ability to drive positive change in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Have a continuous improvement mindset, with curiosity, innovation mindset, and willingness to challenge the status quo. Be able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting ideas, results, and recommendations effectively. Desired Characteristics Have previous experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes for gas turbine testing, including execution, process control, and technical documentation. Have previous experience in managing quality issues and root cause analysis, with exposure to external stakeholders (eg. customers) Be familiar with Lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to identify waste, simplify processes, and support operational excellence initiatives. Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, manufacturing solutions, and digital tools that can improve assembly and testing processes.
