We're looking for a Financial Analyst to join our WAM Europe team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to serve as the go-to person of the in-scope Accounting & Reporting processes (journal entries preparation, reconciliation, reporting and analysis). Position Responsibilities: Preparation and completion of monthly/quarterly reporting to groups throughout Manulife Preparation and analysis of intercompany reconciliations Monitoring of intercompany receipts and payments Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for various transactions such as expenses, revenues, accruals, and prepayments Monthly reconciliation of Accounting Units, Cost Center and GL bookings) Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree holders (Accounting, Finance, Business-courses) are welcome to apply Experience: At least one to two years of relevant experience in accounting, finance reporting and/or audit Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves: Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel Strong technical accounting skills (including journal entries) with a solid understanding of the business environment and financial reporting structure to provide value-added analysis When you join our team: - We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. - We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. - As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
