Job Description: Mars Wrigley-Sanitation Team Member- Elizabethtown, PA Pay: Based on experience starting at $24.10+ / hour This site manufactures DOVE chocolate Shift Schedule: Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday Hours: 7:30am-4pm (Flexible pending business needs) Description of Role: The Sanitation Team Member is an environmental microbiological risk management role that requires performing protocols in sanitation and plant hygiene at the site. The role will support the strategy, development, implementation, and sustainability of a cleaning and sanitation program to meet regulatory, global, and corporate requirements related to food safety, sanitation, and pest control. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, or sanitation, or GMP Proficiency in software systems, including MS Office and e-mail Physical Requirements: Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. This location processes milk and soy; please exercise caution if you have a milk or soy allergy Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs). Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours. Capable of working with chemicals in hot, cold, dusty, and wet conditions. Proficient at using a computer and capable of using a computer screen for shifts up to 8 hours. Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
