Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Supervising or leading teams that work with housing programs (i.e., Operating Subsidy, Capital Fund, Section 8 vouchers, Family Self Sufficiency, HOPE VI, homeownership, community and supportive services (CSS), nursing homes, housing development or financing); AND Analyzing policy and developing options or recommendations for new or revised policies and procedures related to assisted housing programs; AND Analyzing issues or problems, developing strategies, and presenting solutions to senior management and high-level officials. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
