Network Engineer L2

About the role

JobSummary: We areseeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operationalmanagement, administration, and support. The engineer will handle networktroubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and change management whileensuring network reliability and performance . ________________________________________ KeyResponsibilities: Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers). Perform firmware/software upgrades, patching, and vulnerability fixes. Configure VLANs, firewall rules, DNS entries, proxy whitelisting, and other network parameters. Conduct network backups, recovery, and disaster recovery exercises. Liaise with ISPs and service providers for operational issues. Support IoT and smart devices (CCTV, Smart TV, TouchWall panels, lighting controls). Maintain up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, topologies, configurations). Manage network change requests with proper planning, testing, and minimal user disruption. Analyze network performance and recommend improvements. ________________________________________ RequiredQualifications & Experience: CCNA or CCNP certified (Active certification) experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP. Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco wireless APs and controllers. Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 1-3 network issues. Experience with network management tools and packet sniffers (e.g., Wireshark).
