Job Description Job Summary Blow Mold Operator coworkers efficiently, effectively and safely operate the blow mold machines and other support equipment. Operators ensure high quality finished products are being produced and meeting production volumes for our customers, while working in a fast-paced and quick changing environment. Specific Responsibilities / Essential Functions Ensures all machines are kept running and producing quality bottles while ensuring the least amount of down-time possible. Follows production schedules and communicates any changes to team members when necessary. Start-up and shut down of blow mold machine and supporting equipment. Organization ability to complete daily cleaning and adequately maintains good housekeeping throughout the area. Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects. Maintains all required documentation for quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry. Operates forklift safely and efficiently. Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product. Follows all established safety rules and guidelines. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors. Properly uses all required personal protective equipment. Performs other related duties as directed by the Production Supervisor. Product Safety regarding cleanliness and notification of any observations that may create a product safety concern. 11. Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents in their departments. 12. Take reasonable care for self and others to prevent injury. Supervisory Responsibilities None.
