As a Radiation Therapist Technician, you will provide prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all age groups. You will deliver the doses of radiation therapy, position patients, explain the procedure, and answer any questions. You will work with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff and physicians during treatment to ensure the best patient care. You will also coordinate support services like social work and dietary . Radiation Therapy Administration : Delivers prescribed doses of radiation therapy, positions patients, answers questions, and explains procedures as needed. Safety and Quality Assurance : Maintains department policies, quality assurance programs, and safety standards, and participates in process improvement efforts.
