Freelance 3D Graphic Designer

About the role

Get Out! Events is looking for a freelance 3D Graphic Designer to support event concept development, spatial visualisation, stage and booth mockups, inflatable/event installation concepts, branded environments, and client presentation visuals. This role is for a 3D designer who can help clients see the event before it is built. We are looking for someone who can combine strong 3D fundamentals with modern AI tools to explore ideas faster, create stronger references, and produce compelling visuals for pitches and planning.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D visuals, renders, mockups, and concept images for events, booths, stages, entrance arches, photo points, activity zones, branded environments, installations, and spatial layouts.
• Turn event briefs, floorplans, references, and rough sketches into clear 3D concepts for internal and client review.
• Produce fast concept explorations as well as more polished presentation-ready renders when required.
• Adapt visual concepts across different event themes, venue types, client brands, and campaign objectives.
• Work with the events team to refine designs based on practical setup, production, logistics, and client feedback.
• Prepare visual assets for proposals, decks, client approvals, and production discussions.
• Use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate ideation, reference generation, texture exploration, scene development, mood boards, and design iteration.
• AI tools preference
• Strong preference will be given to designers who are already comfortable using AI-assisted 3D or visual tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Krea, Magnific, Adobe Firefly, Blender AI workflows, Stable Diffusion, Meshy, Luma, Spline, or other AI-assisted 3D/image tools.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of 3D design, spatial visualisation, event design, environmental design, exhibition design, stage design, booth design, product visualisation, or similar work.
• Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, Unreal, Spline, or equivalent 3D tools.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition, scale, materials, and presentation-quality rendering.
• Able to interpret briefs, references, floorplans, and event requirements.
• Able to work quickly and independently with clear communication.
• Comfortable producing both fast concept visuals and more polished renders depending on the project need.
• Preferred advantages
• Experience designing for corporate events, government events, exhibitions, roadshows, brand activations, family days, gala dinners, conferences, or temporary installations.
• Familiarity with AI image generation, AI-assisted 3D workflows, prompt writing, concept art generation, texture generation, or render enhancement.
• Ability to create visuals that are creative but still buildable for real-world event production.
• Basic 2D design, deck layout, or presentation design ability is a plus.
