- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study and 8 years of progressive experience in Software Engineering.
- Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- 8 years of experience working in Java or equivalent, including Java backend server technology including master-slave configuration, REST APIs, and Android platform;
- 8 years of experience in design and development of multi-tiered business applications;
- 8 years of experience working with relational databases (such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL);
- defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs;
- developing cloud software services and designing for scalability, performance and reliability;
- working in serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) or container-based architecture (Docker);
- building and maintaining complex software that is secure and scalable to millions of users;
- object-oriented design and programming;
- working with and mitigating the challenges in performance, scaling, throughput and consistency associated with high availability, 24×7 applications and services;
- working within an Agile software development process;
- Git; and
- message brokering architectures (pub/sub queues, and request/response) and data streaming.
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- Base Pay Range for this position: $184,974-$191,000 per year
