Network Engineer

About the role

Responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of application & network infrastructure services that meet project requirements and business needs, and is aligned to Government's policies, standards and procedures. Be part of the Application Infrastructure Services and Operation (AISO) team to plan, develop, and support the infrastructure services for applications system. Manages vendors in the delivery of design, set up, operation and security patching for Government Cloud (GCC) and On-prem (Agency Server room/Data Centre) and support the adoption of SaaS products. Support network activities on contractual matters, SLA and operational issues. Have some experience (1 to 3 years) in various network technology used for LAN, WAN, VPN, Internet routing, etc. Work with vendors on the delivery of services for government-wide network infrastructure and services, ensuring efficient operations management, compliance to policies and standards. Ensures infrastructure setup compliance to IM8 & hardening guide. Handle IM8 compliance and Audits (preparation, responses and closures) Monitor project progress and schedule. Manages issues and risks, evaluate and assess result of project. Maintains report and provides regular updates to management. Ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
