Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Software Design Engineer with strong experience in C#, relational databases, and full stack web applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems in a predominantly Windows environment, while working on an Agile development team. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with APIs and be able to efficiently validate and integrate data from multiple business applications. Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD practices is highly desirable, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging web-based technologies. As a Mid-Level Software Design Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications primarily in C#. Work extensively in Windows development and deployment environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable software solutions. Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices. Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. Work with APIs to integrate data across multiple business applications. Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and reliability. Job Requirements: US Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field. 5-10+ years of experience in software development. Extensive experience with C# and object oriented programming. Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL. Experience with web application UI frameworks and Javascript. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external users. Familiarity with Agile software development practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
