AIML - Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for an outstanding ML Engineer that empowers other Data Scientists and ML Engineers to do their best work.

Responsibilities

• Partner across engineering organizations to build tooling, processes, and methodologies to evaluate new features before launch
• Develop data pipelines and frameworks that provide metrics and insights into how our users engage with features and how our products can be improved
• Solve technical challenges in innovative ways
• Leverage engineering best practices to improve team productivity

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a technical or quantitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or 10+ years of industry experience with demonstrated technical leadership
• Passion for improving the user experience while preserving user privacy
• Track record of quickly ramping on new technologies
• 7+ years of industry experience in ML Engineering or Data Science
• Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders that result in significant organizational impact
• Strong programming skills in Python and Spark with experience building data pipelines and ML systems at scale
• Experience leveraging LLMs, feature engineering, and machine learning to develop metrics and generate insights to improve the user experience
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and mentor ML Engineers or Data Scientists
