Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing, directing, and controlling the delivery of all assigned equipment and installation packages, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Your core responsibilities include:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of equipment packages, covering tendering, fabrication, delivery, installation, commissioning, and integration
  • Manage key equipment suppliers, including direct coordination through Crane Engineering Services (CES) in Shanghai and other contracted parties
  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for equipment-related matters with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate closely with the terminal Asset Management team and Terminal Equipment Manager to align technical solutions with operational requirements
  • Monitor progress against the approved project baseline, proactively identifying risks, delays, and mitigation actions
  • Manage equipment-related scope changes, schedule impacts, and cost variations in line with APM Terminals governance and change management procedures
  • Promote and demonstrate visible safety leadership, ensuring contractors and suppliers comply with APM Terminals' HSSE standards and Culture of Care principles

Requirements

  • In addition, you bring the following experience and capabilities:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, installations, and/or project-based delivery environments
  • Proven background in project or package management with responsibility for safety, schedule, quality, and budget outcomes
  • Strong technical understanding of equipment systems and installation processes within port, terminal, or heavy industrial environments
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, building alignment with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with a professional level of English required; French is considered an advantage
  • You are structured, disciplined, and hands-on, with the ability to influence outcomes, maintain control in complex construction environments, and consistently follow through on actions and documentation.
