Senior / Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Director of Nursing or Clinical Governance Officer (CGO).
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to assess residents and formulate care plans aimed at enhancing mobility and functional abilities.
• Implementing and managing residents' physical therapy programmes.
• Provide physical therapy treatments, exercises and specialist techniques to relieve pain and improve residents' mobility.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Therapy Assistants to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
• Develop Rehabilitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are compliant with the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA).
• Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and service standards.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation.
• Facilitate training sessions for therapists, support staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Plan and implement funded projects to support
• organisational objectives.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in relevant research activities.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Director of
• Nursing, CGO, or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Possess valid BCLS Certification.
• Minimum of three years' relevant experience in healthcare or eldercare settings.
• Demonstrates strong adaptability to change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Advantages :
• Familiarity with dialects.
• Experience in a similar care setting.
