Requirements

• MFA is required .
• Previous teaching experience of at least two years at the university level. is required .
• Demonstrated background in teaching the practical and theoretical aspects of painting including color theory, the history and techniques of acrylics , and experience instructing from the live model is required .
• Familiarity with all technical aspects of canvas stretching, basic hand tools, studio safety and wood shop protocols involving the operation of a table and compound saw is required .
• 5 . Record of professional activity and exhibitions in figure painting demonstrative of standing in the arts community is required .
• 6 . Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level in the area to be taught (e.g. course evaluations, letters of reference, and/or other components of teaching dossier) is required .
