Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain complex financial planning models to support annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning
- Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, research variances, and communicate findings

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
- Experience in sports and entertainment industry preferred
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models
- Strong storytelling ability through PowerPoint, with a focus on data visualization and executive-level communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Naturally curious, with a desire to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and dig deeper into financial data
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations. The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in a wide range of FP&A activities and is responsible for specific data driven analytics that support the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego Gulls, and Anaheim Ducks Foundation . This position will play a central role in executing the timely delivery and presentation of the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, monthly reporting and variance analysis, and long-range strategic plan. The Financial Analyst drives to execute tasks and projects timely at a high level.
