Responsibilities
- Provide trade support and execution functions for private investment funds, including monitoring internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Foster a relationship with back-office support professionals at private fund managers/private companies as well as their administrators and agents, including frequent communications regarding trading and amortization activity
- Liaise with external service providers, internal team members and other BlackRock groups to resolve operational issues, as identified

- Find opportunities for technological innovation and enhancements to processes
- Identify risk areas and implement/improve risk-mitigating controls
- Assist with preparation and review of reporting deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure the team's process documentation and controls are updated and reviewed regularly
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in consulting, portfolio management, fund operations, fund accounting, fund audit, or related areas, with a strong focus on private funds and private markets investments
- Proven track record of leveraging technology and data-driven solutions to drive process improvements, with demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems preferred
- Familiarity with the investment management industry; experience with private and/or hedge funds and various types of investors is preferred
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-paced environment involving a large volume of high-risk transactions with a low tolerance for error
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, while actively seeking additional responsibilities
- Outstanding academic achievement, broad-based work experience, and demonstrated leadership experience
- Prior experience at an investment management company, fund administrator, or Big 4 firm preferred
- Above all, the initiative and willingness to contribute beyond the scope of one's role to achieve team and firm objectives

The core focus of the team is to: support private asset settlements and lifecycle activity, manage BlackRock's investment book of record ("IBOR") related to our alternatives platform, and make this data available to downstream s takeholders.
