The Molding Production Planner is the person who schedules and allocates production orders based in our customer needs and improving operations efficiency. Play your part in our team succeeding Molding Production Planning is a key position of the company, involved on daily execution and tactical/strategy activities where problem solving and analytical skills are crucial, accountable of give balance to a cost reduction and customer service driven company with a global perspective. Core responsibilities: Convert planned orders into production orders, managing the inventory coverage while minimizing the change overs. Ensure the production plan is posted in ERP/MRP system and keep it updated. Monitor changes in materials requirements and production orders and act accordingly. Ensure the desired utilization of the job centers (machines & moulds) given into personal MRP versus the demand, following the Tactical and MPS processes analyzing the future situation in a timely manner and act accordingly for keeping it in this way. Do you have what it takes? Production scheduling of a manufacturing plant with capacity limitations in equipment or material Inventory analysis experiences Supply chain, production control and logistics experiences Continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology and tools Knowledge of modern ERP system (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.). Advance MS Excel, macros and MS Access expertise is a plus. Basic understanding of a manufacturing organization and the relationship between its departments. Strong communication and collaboration skills for a successful engagement with partners and customers. Attentiveness to details, responsibility and team work is a must Fluent in English.
