- Overview: Beam seeks an experienced case manager for our inpatient and ED case management program. The role of the Case Manager is to help guide admission criteria for ED patients.
- Schedule of Tele-Coverage Service
- 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm CST
- 7 days/week coverage between team members
- Flexible scheduling with RN CM group
- Daily Job Responsibilities:
- Guide ED admission decisions using MCG or interqual as needed based on insurance criteria.
- Review observation patients on the medical floor to determine whether they meet inpatient criteria.
- Be available in the ER for any further questions.
- Work with local hospitalist + Tele UM if needed.
- AM Case Mgmt --> daily review of obs patients + ER as requested.
- PM Case Mgmt --> review any new admits + ER as requested.
