Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction / Design & Estimating
• Develop HVAC system solutions using top-tier equipment, including concept development, engineering analysis, and validation.
• Lead preconstruction efforts: solution design, estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, and cash flow projections.
• Manage bid efforts: prepare bid packages, evaluate coverage, and ensure compliance with all requirements (insurance, permits, taxes, MBE, etc.).
• Create detailed scopes of work and negotiate strong subcontractor agreements.
• Present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Construction Management
• Lead full-cycle construction for Design-Build/CM/GC projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee financials, schedules, and deliverables; ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Drive project close-out: punch list, warranty fulfillment, as-builts, and client satisfaction.
• Team Leadership
• Manage and mentor project teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and professional growth.
• Delegate effectively while monitoring task accuracy and process compliance.
• Coordinate manpower planning to align with project demands.
• What You Bring
• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction, with deep knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems.
• Proven leadership in project management, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and team development.
• Expertise in HVAC systems, temperature controls, and process controls.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and field operations.
• Proficiency with construction management tools (Timberline, Procore preferred).
• Solid grasp of scheduling logic and AIA/GMP/Design-Build contracts.
• The ability to resolve issues diplomatically and quickly.
• A focus on continuous improvement-for both project outcomes and team development.
