As an Architecture Lead with Kyndryl, you will build up a group‑wide architecture function from scratch and define the reference architecture and target‑state architecture principles for the consolidated client's infrastructure. In this role, you will chair the architecture review board and arbitrate design decisions across solos, ensuring alignment between architecture, the data centre consolidation approach, and the sourcing strategy. You will own architecture governance, standards, and exception handling while delivering the group‑wide reference architecture and architecture function, and a comprehensive target architecture blueprint covering compute, storage, network, virtualization, and security zones. Your work will also include defining architecture principles and ADRs, creating a migration pattern catalogue (lift‑shift, re‑platform, retire, retain), providing solution architecture sign‑offs for each migration wave, and contributing to the development of business cases. To excel in this role, you will need to be able to understand our customers' needs and constraints and apply industry knowledge and best practices to develop effective IT solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique challenges and use your expertise to develop a high-level enterprise-wide IT architecture that maps IT capabilities to business needs. You will be expected to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive knowledge of our solutions offerings, strategies, and direction as it relates to the customer's business, infrastructure, and industry. In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to be a skilled communicator, able to influence customers and sell our solutions using your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge technology solutions and your understanding of their business and industry. Requirements

• Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Senior enterprise architect with 12+ years in large-scale infrastructure design
• Deep hands-on with common compute, storage, network solutions: VMware/VCF, hybrid cloud, and modern data centre design
• Strong written communication; able to produce executive-grade architecture narratives
• Excellent spoken and written German and English language skills
